FEMEXTKD is the short name used by the Federación Mexicana de Taekwondo, A.C. Its official history says the federation began sporting activities in 1970 and was formally constituted on April 30, 1976, to organize Mexico’s representation at international events.
A national connection to local training
A federation helps organize the sport across clubs and events. The official FEMEXTKD site publishes information about championships, rankings, event registrations, and Taekwondo programs. Those structures create a path from regular practice toward organized competition for students who choose to explore it.
Why the name appears at Bulsajo
Bulsajo’s affiliations page identifies the school as endorsed by FEMEXTKD. That relationship connects our local practice to a broader Taekwondo community with roots in Mexico. It does not mean every student is on a national-team track: competition is one possible experience, while class, forms, partner practice, and steady learning remain meaningful on their own.
Students and families can ask the instructor which events are current, who is hosting them, and what a particular event requires. Confirm those details for each tournament, since registration and divisions can vary.
