Bulsajo’s connection with Grandmaster Daniel Baez is a teaching relationship. His school’s public website uses the name Master Baez Martial Arts and introduces Grandmaster Daniel Baez as a 9th dan practitioner who has taught for more than 30 years.
Knowledge moves through practice
Martial arts are carried forward when students train with teachers, ask questions, and return to the work. Bulsajo’s connection with Grand Master Baez is a teaching and learning relationship. It is one part of a much wider practice shared among students, instructors, schools, and traditions.
That relationship does not make every school or curriculum identical. Each dojang has its own community and daily practice. The common thread is the work itself: learning movement carefully, developing control, respecting training partners, and continuing to study.
A person in a larger tradition
Recognizing a teacher’s contribution can help students see how their own practice connects to others. At the same time, martial arts are not contained in one person. They are experienced on the mat and carried forward by everyone who trains and teaches with care.
For the official description of Grandmaster Baez and his school, see Master Baez Martial Arts’ About page. For current Bulsajo details, explore the studio’s introduction to the practice.
