More Than A Martial Art

Bulsajo has been teaching traditional Moodukkwan Taekwondo to the Glades community for years. The approach is traditional. The room is warm.

Master Skye

Moodukkwan 4th Dan Kukkiwon Certified Olympic Style Taekwondo Black belt — Guadalajara, Mexico 12+ Years Teaching

Master Skye earned his 1st degree black belt in Olympic style Taekwondo in Guadalajara, Mexico, at the Víctor Estrada school — under Grandmaster Víctor Estrada Sr. and Marcos Estrada, general directors of the Asociación de Taekwondo Víctor Estrada, the school of the Olympic medalist whose name it carries. Bulsajo remains formally affiliated with the association.

He built Bulsajo from the ground up and still teaches on the floor every week. The approach is traditional — forms, terminology, respect — but nobody gets left behind for being shy, small, or brand new.

Students train for belts, but they leave with something harder to measure: the ability to stand up straight, look an adult in the eye, and finish what they started.

Questions

What age can my child start?
As young as 3 in Little Tigers. There is no upper age limit — we have classes for children, teens, and adults.
Do we need any experience?
None. Every program starts from the very beginning and the instructors guide you through each step.
What should we wear to the first class?
Comfortable athletic clothes and bare feet. You receive your official uniform on enrollment.
How long does a black belt take?
About four years of consistent training, following the belt ladder. Graduations run every three months, and students test when they are ready.
Is taekwondo safe for kids?
Yes. Protective gear is required for all sparring and every drill is age-appropriate.
Are we locked into a contract?
No. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees. Tuition is month to month and paid online.
