What Kombat Taekwondo Is
Kombat Taekwondo is a professional competition format built on traditional Taekwondo, with licensed clubs in over a hundred countries and broadcasts on major sports networks. Clubs license in and are recognized as members; the league runs national qualifying championships, a Grand Prix series, and an international instructor exchange.
In the last year alone it has launched national federations and championships in places as far apart as Uruguay, Malaysia, Costa Rica, Uzbekistan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo — it is growing quickly, and it is growing as a genuine competitive circuit rather than a rebrand.

It gives our teens and adults somewhere real to go. Traditional forms and Kukkiwon rank remain the spine of the school, but a student who wants to test themselves under contact now has a recognized route to do it, without leaving the Taekwondo they already know.
Nobody is required to compete. Taekwondo Kombat is a class you can take purely for fitness, discipline and self defense — the league is there for the ones who want the next thing.
