Children
The main children's program: traditional forms, sparring, self-defense and the belt ladder, one to three days a week.
The Full Curriculum
This is the core Taekwondo class for ages five to twelve — traditional Moodukkwan forms (poomsae), basic sparring and self-defense, and Korean terminology and culture alongside the physical work.
Classes are at the Clewiston Youth Center, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Tuition runs $200 for three days a week, $175 for two, and $150 for one.
Belt graduations are every three months at $82. The ladder is eleven ranks from white to 1st Dan, and a student needs all six stripes on their current belt plus a minimum of twelve classes before they are put forward.
First month is $75 with the uniform included, and there are no contracts — ever.
In Belle Glade, this runs after school
Belle Glade families reach the same curriculum through After School Taekwondo — we collect from local schools and the class itself runs 3:30 to 4:30 PM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
What a graduation takes
Six stripes on the current belt and at least twelve classes. Twelve fits every tier: about four weeks at three days a week, six weeks at two, twelve weeks at one.
